Our socks are made with the best and finest materials such as Peruvian PIMA and TANGUIS cotton, which are world famous for their excellent quality. It is important to mention that PIMA cotton, is considered to be the best in the world, and known for its extra long fiber, providing socks with extraordinary softness, shine, and durability.
We also make socks with the finest ALPACA and BABY ALPACA fiber, fine hair from a native camelid from the high plains of Peru region. One of the most important characteristics of the Alpaca fiber is its ability to act as an insulator, keeping body temperature at normal levels, because the fiber is hollow, thus creating air pockets.
At LANCASTER, we also work with Merino wool, use worldwide and recognized for its many desirable properties. It is a flexible, absorbent, warm and comfortable fiber.
And we could not set aside one of the finest natural and noble fibers as Cashmere, a product with which we get the softest and most pleasant socks
Mercerized Pima Cotton, the insurmountable cotton yarn obtained after giving extra processes to the great Pima cotton like gassing, a process which removes the “pilling” of the yarn and mercerizing, a process by which the yarn gets an exceptional brightness and applies it to the garment. This is why the most prestigious brands love garments made with Mercerized Pima Cottons.
Lancaster has got into the world of sportswear with intelligent fabrics using Coolmax and other fibers to optimize the performance of the athletes to maintain moisture-free socks.
We also work organic cotton, and blends of all fibers.
To accompany and give strength and elasticity to the garments, we use the best nylon yarns and also Lycra, a registered trademark from Invista, the spandex for excellence, and we are always open to use new yarn developments to obtain the perfect socks.
